About Brooks
Hello,
My name is Brooks Rogers. I have been a fulltime guide on Lake Fork since I was 21 years old. I grew up in Longview, which is about 50 miles away from Lake Fork. I have been fishing Lake Fork since the timber was still green, and I now live in Quitman, TX, just 7 miles away from the lake.
During the 2001-2002 season I competed in the Bassmaster Central Division Opens and qualified to compete on the Bassmaster Tour in 2003. Also in 2003, I qualified for the first ever Bassmaster Open Championship. In all, I competed on the Bassmaster Tour from 2003 until 2006.
Through my association of other top notch guides and professional anglers, I can teach you hands-on all the newest techniques and trends in bass fishing along with the old standbys. I try to make my trips a fun day of fishing with the hopes of catching a trophy bass along with an educational day that you can apply to your future trips to Lake Fork or your other favorite lake.
Corporate trips are always welcome. I can coordinate as many guides needed to fit your group. Only full time professional guides will be used. I can also make all the accommodation arrangements which will be made at the Minnow Bucket Marina, which has first class lodging, dining, and all your tackle needs. Lake Fork also has a beautiful golf course right on the water where people can have a choice of activities during the day.
